FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions
When is worship?
9am Sundays. Come a little early to meet friends and see what's happening on our Community Loop that runs before and after worship.
Where do I park?
Parking is on the east and south side of the campus. Handicap parking is located near the front entrance (north side) and near the rear entrance (south side).
Where is worship?
We worship in the worship center located just to the left of the main entrance. There is an elevator near the rear entrance or you can use the stairs to access the worship center from the lower floor.
How long is worship?
Worship lasts about an hour - a little longer on the first Sunday of the month when we celebrate Communion.
Can I leave?
Yes, if at any time you feel the need to leave the worship center or our campus you are free to depart.
Music thing?
We use contemporary (as heard on WBCL or the JoyFM) and lively traditional music. Dylan leads with acoustic guitar and is accompanied by keyboard, musicians, and singers. Lyrics are projected. Sit or stand as you feel comfortable.
Money thing?
Guests are not asked to give - your gift is worshiping the Lord. Faithful friends and members know that the mission of Christ to reach this world for God is funded by what we give.
What do I wear?
Wear comfortable clothes. You'll see jeans and dress slacks, dresses and pants. The pastor dresses comfortably, too.
Why should I come?
Sunday morning helps us reflect on God's Presence in the past week, celebrate and live into God's promises as we learn God's Word, and receive strength and hope for tomorrow.
Kids?
We have infants in worship and there is a children's chat with the pastor before the message. A nursery is available from 8:45 to 11:15. Activity bags are also available if you choose to keep your children with you in worship. Children are encouraged to serve in worship as acolytes.
Accessible?
Yes, in all areas. There is an elevator located in the center of the complex. Accessible restrooms are located on the ground and second floors. Areas around the worship center allow families to sit together.
What if I don't believe?
Belief is not a requirement. Explore what the most interesting person in history had to say about how to live an abundant life and become the best possible version of your self!
What if I'm different?
OK! We're all different - "complicated" as captain Jack Sparrow has famously said. We are a Christ-centered, Bible-teaching fellowship of friends. We are all sinners and learning the depths of God's grace.
Wackadoos?
We're not "that" kind of Christian - crazy about dumb things, but we are sold out for Jesus! We teach Biblical prophecy without the fanaticism that can accompany it. We embrace spiritual truth in practical ways.
